Volumes have been said on this issue, and the contention and ruckus about where the "hot" slot machines are located in the casino are still intense – sixty yrs after slots were first added to the gaming floor in gambling dens.
The traditional rule is that the most favorable one armed bandits were located just inside the main doorway of the casino; so that casino fanatics passing by would be able to see real jackpot winners and be impressed enough to come unto the gambling floor and play.
